WHAT OCCURRED: Weslaco Police have apprehended and arraigned two additional suspects that were involved in the armed robbery that occurred at Express Communication on Tuesday night, Feb. 21.
After investigating the armed robbery that occurred at Valley Gold Exchange on Feb. 22, investigators were able to identify Luis Enrique Rojas, 19 years old, and Jesus Guerrero, 18 years old, as two additional suspects in the first robbery at Express Communications. Investigators obtained arrest warrants for both and were able to apprehend them with assistance from the U.S. Marshal’s Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force. Both Rojas and Guerrero were later taken before a Weslaco judge and formally charged.

Jesus Guerrero, 17 yrs
