McAllen, TX (January 6, 2011)—For over 5 months now, the valley has been able to enjoy a different type of food delivered to their home or office. RGV To Go was launched September 15th. It is a delivery service offered to local restaurants in McAllen and surrounding cities. RGV To Go brings to the valley a “taste” of what metropolitan cities have to offer and at the same time “recession proofing” local restaurants by increasing their daily sales. Restaurants in the RGV To Go network now provide a service that gives consumers an added convenience and extends an extra incentive when one is choosing what to eat.
As the valley grows exponentially and becomes slowly but surely a more metropolitan city, so do the amenities that the cities has to offer. RGV To Go is no exception to this growth. RGV TO GO brings a concept that cities such as Houston, S.A., and even N.Y. has to offer, restaurant food delivered right to your door. A concept that although seems quite easy is more tactical than it looks.
RGV TO GO was brought to the valley by Heberto Hinojosa, Jr. and Roman Salinas who with the guidance of RMDS (Restaurant Marketing an Delivery Service) Coach Andrew Berman , who has over 20 years of experience in the business have had a wonderful start. Berman has successfully helped launch numerous Delivery Service businesses across the country. “Hinojosa is passionate about what he does, and it shows… I would already consider his business a success” said Berman
“By adding a delivery service to a restaurant not only are we able to help increase their bottom line but also get them more exposure through our marketing and advertising. We are bringing new clients to their restaurants” said Mariana Quiroga marketing director of RGV TO GO. “An added service to your business can really make a difference, this is when we come in” added Quiroga.
How it works is quite simple. One goes to the website www.rgvtogo.com and is able to choose over a variety of over 20 different restaurants. Restaurant selections include national brands like Tony Romas, Macaroni Grill, and Which Wich as well as local favorites like Ms. G’s, House of China, and the Ristretto. Once on their website, you can place your order online and the restaurant automatically receives the order. RGV To Go representatives then call to confirm and dispatches a mobile waiter to deliver your meal.
Night in, tired of cooking, stuck at work, empty fridge, hosting a special event RGV TO GO is here to give consumers an accommodation that was not offered before by the restaurant. “Our goal is to be a household name and have the phase RGV TO GO be synonymous with restaurant delivery, we are committed to maintaining 100% customer satisfaction. We will soon be in Harlingen, Brownsville and South Padre Island” said Hinojosa.
