Message from Ramsey Muniz

I spent most of yesterday finalizing the Application for Commutation of Sentence. Know that we are seeking a Commutation of Sentence and not a pardon. Pardons are only for people who have already served their prison term and have gotten their freedom. The purpose of the pardon is to try to expunge their record.

We live in an era where we have to go to our phone and check in on Foursquare to get a discount at a place. Where you get rewarded for going into places to Facebook. Where we go to our iPad or tablet to check the paper, and where we go to our computer to attend college classes. Who would have thought that we go to our gadgets for almost anything? From ringing up customers to “face-timing” with our soldiers who are oversees. The possibilities are endless. Gadgets are the go-to item for just about anything.

Brownsville police make one more arrest in the kidnapping murder case

A 30 year old man was arrested in Sullivan City and charged. A total of 6 men and 1 man ahave now been arrested and charged. Charges against 1 man have been dismissed.

Breaking News: Body of Andres Frias Recovered

The body of 18-year old Andres Frias was recovered shortly before 2 am today, according to McAllen Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator Wendy Smith.
