The next church that Jesus begins to address is the church that was in Sardis. The city of Sardis was founded around 1200 B.C., and had been one of the greatest cities in the ancient world. It was located somewhere around 30 miles from the city of Thyatira, and about fifty miles east of the city of Ephesus at the junction of five main roads.

Cummings Middle School Shooting ‘No Billed’ by Grand Jury
Brownsville, Texas – August 10, 2012 – Armando R. Villalobos, County and District Attorney for Cameron County, announces that the death investigation of 15-year-old Jaime Gonzalez was presented to a Cameron County grand jury on Wednesday, August 8. After presentment of all evidence, the grand jury returned a ‘no bill’ on all the officers in the shooting.
