Last of Seven Defendants Sentenced in AmeriFirst Securities Fraud Case

DALLAS — The final sentencing was held today in the massive AmeriFirst securities fraud case, prosecuted in the Northern District of Texas, that has resulted in a total of seven felony convictions and sentences of imprisonment ranging from 5 years to 25 years, announced U.S. Attorney Sarah R. Saldaña of the Northern District of Texas. Today, John Porter Priest was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Barbara M. G. Lynn to one year in federal prison.

Missing 81 year old Brownsville missing woman found

On July 27th 2012 Cayetana Hernandez was located at 6:52 AM by Border Patrol Agents on Oklahoma Rd. by Alaska Rd. She appeared to be disoriented and dehydrated. The agents found her in an open field about a 1/4 from the roadway. She was transported to the hospital. Her vehicle has not been located yet.
