To the capital murder of 82 year old Flavia Padron Araiza of Harlingen on July 2, 2011. Thanks to a bungled investigation by the Harlingen police department. Trejo had brutally sexually assaulted a 62 year woman in her home back in January 31, 2011. The incident was investigated by the incompetent detective Rebecca Cruz.
Trejo was allowed to run loose until he murdered Mrs. Araiza 6 months later.
Had they made an arrest sooner, the 82 year murder victim would still be alive.

Brownsville, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Brownsville Port of Entry intercepted a woman for alleged violations of immigration law. The woman allegedly presented a DSP 150 Visas for herself and a minor child traveling with her in an alleged attempt to make entry into the country.
