The Church of Smyrna II

The church of Smyrna was the second church that Jesus addressed in the book of Revelation. He sent the message to the church of Smyrna through the Apostle John. The angel that that the message is sent to, is not an heavenly spiritual being as many would suppose because of the word “angel.” This is referring to the leader of the church of Smyrna, which, according to Eusebius, was Polycarp, who was burned alive as we saw in our last article.

The Weslaco Police Department needs your help to catch a man and woman who have been fraudulently using a female victim’s credit card and identity. It started with a vehicle that was burglarized at the Ultimate Fitness Center gym on April 16th. The suspects broke into the car and stole the victim’s purse, containing credit cards, bank account info, and her I.D. card.

Rio Grande Valley Fallen Heroes

The Rio Grande Valley answered the call to military service following the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks. “Operation Enduring Freedom” started in Afghanistan on October 7th, 2001 followed by “Operation Iraqi Freedom” in Iraq on March 20th, 2003. More than 6,395 servicemen and women have lost their lives in these two conflicts overseas. Of those fallen heroes, some 567 are from Texas with 44 of them from the Valley. San Antonio Man Added to Most Wanted Fugitive List

AUSTIN – Felix Velasquez Jr., 30, has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list. The Texas Crime Stoppers Program is offering a $7,500 cash reward for information leading to his arrest. He has outstanding warrants from the South Padre Island Police Department for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. All tips are anonymous.
