Sister Dina, who worked for a home health agency, was out making her rounds visiting homebound patients when she ran out of gas. As luck would have it, a Texaco Gasoline station was just a block away. She walked to the station to borrow a gas can and buy some gas. The attendant told her that the only gas can he owned had been loaned out, but she could wait until it was returned.

ICE to open its first designed-and-built civil detention center

KARNES CITY, Texas — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) is scheduled to open its first-ever designed-and-built civil detention facility on Tuesday, March 13. The event will be hosted by ICE ERO Executive Associate Director Gary Mead. After the news conference, a tour of the facility will be available for media representatives to include recording devices.

How Daylight Saving Time Works

During late Winter we move our clocks one hour ahead and “lose” an hour during the night and each Fall we move our clocks back one hour and “gain” an extra hour. Even though the Ephesian church was a very busy church and were doing the work of the ministry as they were commanded by Paul in Ephesians 4; and even though they went through a lot of danger because they were Christians; and even though they stood for righteousness sake before men and perhaps spoke out against wickedness; and even though they knew the Word of God and the truth of God and were able to prove through the Word who was a false prophet, there was still something so wrong with them. In all of their much work “for the Lord,” they had left their first love.
