Two Brownsville men arrested for burglary of a vehicle and child endangerment

On 01-18-12 at approximately 09:20 PM, off duty officer working security at the Movies 10 located at 3471 Old Military Hwy 77, observed two male subjects in a black SUV parked at the location. He then observed both get into a black Ford Expedition and speeding away from the area. Officer observed a broken window to the black SUV and called it in as a possible burglary that had just occurred.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST DIMINSHES SUPERINTENDENT’S CREDIBILITY

An earlier blog has posted stating a new committee should be formed. We couldn’t agree more. This whole process stinks and has tarnished the once proud School Board. The collateral damage that has gone beyond Flores’s bruised ego is extensive.

Special message to Superintendent Dr. Steve Flores and members of the HCISD board of directors

It’s time to do the honorable thing and save face in the failed Harlingen High School South coach selection. First disband the selection committee. Invest some money. Contract an independent unbiased selection consultant. Some one not connected to Dr. Steve Flores. Remove Dr. Steve Flores from the selection loop this time around. For his conflict of interest due to his son Zach Flores getting special treatment at Harlingen High School South.
