As we continue to study throughout Revelation, we now see that John the beloved declares that he was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day. The Lord’s day refers to the first day of the week which is Sunday. So it was a Sunday when John was taken totally over by the Holy Spirit. And because of that John was able to see the spiritual realm, which he comes to describe in the book of Revelation.
