“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15 (Read [...]

“With chains and shackles it was impossible to lie down and rest or sleep. I would have to always try to sleep in a sitting position and I would be screaming the entire time until I had no more air or voice to scream as aloud as I could. With all of that and the fact I never knew if I was going to survive or not, I never ever lost the spirit of praying, asking God to please give me strength, faith, courage, and love because I did not want to hate even though the situation would call for me to hate. Instead I never had one word to say. I was in total silence knowing that God was with me and that I was going to survive and they were not going to break my spirit or my soul. God knew the man that I was and He knew the man that I am going to be for the future of His world on earth and one day in heaven.”

Did he have long hair? Did he have a long beard? Did He have light or dark skin? How did Christ look? Or, what were the colors of His eyes? Well, unfortunately Scripture gives no specific details about His personal appearance when He was upon the earth as a man. We do know that He did have a beard because of what was prophesied in the Scriptures (Isaiah 50:6). But as to the color of His eyes, some would think that they were navy blue. But in reality we don’t know because it is not mentioned anywhere in Scripture.
I can’t give away what I don’t have: If I can’t love others, it’s because I don’t know that God loves me.
“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to [...]
