ROADRUNNERS INVITE YOUTH TO BASEBALL CLINIC

EDINBURG, Texas— The Edinburg Roadrunners of the United League announced today that they will be hosting a co-ed baseball clinic for ages 5 through 13 on Saturday, August 7, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. prior to their scheduled game against the Amarillo Dillas.

Laredo – Monday’s United League Baseball game between the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings and the Laredo Broncos has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions following rain earlier in the day at Veterans Field.

TxDOT to begin construction on new SH 550 in Cameron County

Cameron County – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will begin construction on the new SH 550 tolled project on Monday, July 26, 2010. The $34.1 million tolled highway project will be constructed on new location from just north of FM 3248 to SH 48 in Brownsville. The project planning and development was a cooperative effort between TxDOT and the Cameron County Regional Mobility Authority (CCRMA).
